Since 1995, this club has been a vibrant force in promoting radio listening and shortwave DXing across the country. INTERNATIONAL DX RADIO LISTENERS CLUB a passionate, non-profit, non-commercial group of hobbyists. Our radio listeners club was established in the year 1995 and we are promoting the hobby of radio listening.
We are concerned about shortwave radio listening, especially analogue broadcasts and DXing organization from Murshidabad, West Bengal, India, that has been championing the hobby of radio listening since 1995. We dedicated to shortwave listening, DXing, and promoting radio listening has made a lasting impact on radio enthusiasts across the country.
To create awareness on radio listening, since 1995, INTERNATIONAL DX RADIO LISTENERS CLUB has been providing services to the radio listener’s fraternity with the aim of promoting this fascinating hobby. We focus on shortwave broadcasts and popularizing the SW Dxing to the listeners across the Country. We create awareness about Shortwave/MW/FM/DRM radio listening in India and guide the newcomer about this fascinating hobby.
We promote the SW/MW/FM/DRM Radio listening, Correspondent to the broadcasters of national and International radio stations by sending Reception reports, suggestions, and comments about their programmes for the Improvement of radio programmes. Organize DX Exhibition, Listeners conference/Meet, Local cultural Program, sports and environmental activities with the assistance from local resource persons/professionals.
We organized Healthy Handwash campaign through CLTS mode in Local School Children at our locality for the benefit of community members. Last year we organized a listeners Meet with Tree Plantation Program At Murshidabad.
We usually send reception reports to the radio stations particularly about shortwave analogue reception. QSL collection is more of interest for us.

Our Club ” INTERNATIONAL DX RADIO LISTENERS CLUB” was registered by RVA Bengali & Hindi Service, Deutsche Welle, Voice Of America, RFI English Club, Radio Moscow Bengali Service, Voice of Russia English Service, IRIB –Radio Tehran, Radio Taiwan International, FEBC International, China Radio International Bengali, Tamil, Urdu, Nepali Service etc. Several times, our club has received many rewards ie. “Best listeners club of the Year 2006” by the Radio Deutsche Welle, Germany, “Best Active Club in 2022” by IBIB- Radio Tehran Bengali Service.
The Club President also an official Reception Monitor of Trans World Radio, South Asia Region, Radio Taiwan International English Service, KBS World Radio English and Korean Service & IRIB World Radio for India. Radio has the ability to reach across borders and can become a valuable source of information. From “INTERNATIONAL DX RADIO LISTENERS CLUB”, WEST BENGAL, INDIA we always promote the radio listening hobby giving wide awareness and publicity about the hobby.
Our club slogan: is “DXers-In Touch with Your World”. To extend support for promotion of radio listening, our radio club hoisted a dedicated Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/idxrlclub with all sorts of information required for a new listener and also the old DXer. We have DXing information, Radio Quiz, DRM, Shortwave info, etc.
Couple of times we participated in the phone-in interview held by Deutsche Welle Bengali, Hindi, English & Urdu Service. Our Club President has given his opinion through telephone/mobile interviews on many occasions to IRIB Radio Tehran Bangla Service, Voice of America, CVC International, China Radio International, Radio Saudi Arabia, Radio Veritas Asia etc.
We participate in the Listeners Conference/meetings organized by the radio Stations of Radio Taiwan International, Voice of America, Radio Veritas Asia etc.
